i and all

All of us have our personal likes and dislikes. They may be considered as weird too, in the eyes of others. Something like this: i adore the rawness that my voice acquires when i've a sore throat.

On considering everybody's wishes and fantasies, there is some similarity. Perhaps, not between a neighbour and me. But, probably, between somebody living in Mysuru and me. What i'm trying to say is, we are all connected through some deliccte, faint threads. We discover them as time passes. Lo and behold, we exclaim. Then.

Whatever might be the differences each one of us have, there is something that binds us together. Maybe, it is because that we belong to the same species residing on earth. Thus, our thought processes ought to be alike. I did find a person who had the same strange fantasy, where she believed that she sounds good when she has a cold. I was shocked, and happy at the same time. To discover a person who shares my likes, be it odd or not.

Individuality is a part of us. Each one of us is unique to some extent. But, not with respect to everything. There is something within us which binds us to the rest of the group. If i am linked to about ten of us in this manner, somebody else is also associated with few other people. It's just that we search for people with whom, some common interests can be discussed. It's just our frequencies do not match. But some frequencies do overlap each other. That's how we develop a gang, whom we'd like to term; our friends.

Yes, individuality is important to me. But, it is not everything. It does not form a complete circle. Something else does. Something that exists in common between Z and me, perhaps.
