I like buying hand loom material despite them being expensive. The look and the feel is somewhat more earthy than cloth manufactured using power looms. Despite the middlemen pocketing much, it feels nice to know that by buying them, you are helping co-operative societies sustain fading forms of art. This is a huge thing for me. Given a choice, i would always wear clothes made from hand loom material but i can't afford it all the time.
