I admit that i paid a little more attention to the soccer world cup that concluded a few days ago than i would normally do. Perhaps, the fever just brushed me. Not too strongly.

But, i have two grouses.
One, I couldn't watch the live telecasts of the semi-finals, nor the final. I caught the highlights. To be awake into the dead of night was not feasible.

Two, there isn't anything that's not pervaded by predictions and forecasts. And they are made in a most unusual manner. People will start buying octopuses. And yes, who'll be the next 'Paul'?
