Yes, I have started reading in Kannada. Thanks to all those who encouraged and also suggested some writers. I have started by reading small articles. I don't think i'll discontinue, there is something which propels me to go ahead this time. It's time to start reading bigger pieces of text. I was looking at the bookshelf today wondering what to read. I had to ask father for suggestions as he knows better, and i have picked a collection of short stories. Let's see how this goes. I will find it tough and will have to refer to the dictionary many times, but i'm starting and this is a big deal for me.
