Maturity is a difficult thing. To learn it and to practice it. The benefits are there, but we seldom understand it. Benefit is not the right word, it makes maturity sound cheap. But, i can't think of any other word now. I guess, there are instances in everybody's lives when we wished we'd been mature. Wishful thinking.
