During my time at MCC, i used to catch a bus to college from the bus-stop near Banappa Park, opposite St. Martha's Hospital. Banappa Park is the allotted space for strikes, i guess. Most strikes that took place in Bengaluru happened there. As usual, a few police buses were deployed with bored looking policemen passing time. And yes, the traffic was affected, and i had to maintain that extra vigil to sight my bus which could vanish within seconds from amidst the crowd.

The 'strikers' who participated walked around catching up with old frinds, eating fruit salad sold by a road-side vendor. All-in-all a busy outlook. I don't whether any of the requirements were met. After all i was an onlooker, nothing else.
