It's tough to drive a vehicle along the gallis of Chikpet and Nagarthpet. You have these narrow roads, made narrower by gates to houses which occupy a quarter of the road.

One has to keep in mind the inhabitants of the area, largely Marvadis'. The houses, three- sometimes four-storied have huge gates guarding their cars. With names like .... Mansion/Bungalow. I wonder whether we needed this; when you literally have no place to walk in a straight line.
