Some of it lay smudged at the corners of her eyes. And some of it below her eyes. Especially where those delicate lines formed. The faint tint darkened her eyes. When a finger went to an eye to wipe away some irritant, it returned a little coloured. The hand towel she used had distinguishable black patches at some places. She added to the count by wiping her eyes with it, again.
In the morning when she looked at the mirror after having dressed up for the day, she reached for the circular bar of kadige. Smearing her little finger with some, she carefully lined her lower eyelids with it. The eyes suddenly looked altered.
